| The Buffalo River Area | Visit the Federally controlled Buffalo River Wildlife Area. Swimming and Canoeing is permitted without charge (bring your own canoe or canoe rentals are available near by). The scenic bluffs along the Buffalo River are some of mother nature's most beautiful creations. Be sure to bring your camera! |
| Bear Creek | Bear Creek flows along this area and along Highway 65 for several miles. Enjoy hiking along its banks or swimming in the several swimming holes or fish (with proper licensure of course). |
| Marshall, AR | The small town of Marshall offers some nice restaurants and shopping places. Marshall even has its own airport (no services) on the edge of town. |
| Clinton, AR | Just a short 20 minute drive south of Marshall, Clinton offers a wider variety of shopping and restaurants. Also, you'll enjoy the beautiful scenery as you drive to Clinton. |
| Mountain View, AR | Mountain View lies about 30 minutes from Marshall and offers a wide variety of stores and live music (jams) most nights during the summer. Great restaurants here also. |
